Day 22 - A Wonderful December Day

Christmas lights hung and a cold, rainy day. I love this time of year.

Day 21 - Pooped

I hadn't seen/heard from her for 5 minutes or so, so I went to investigate and found her sound asleep in Seth's doorway. She played so hard, she just passed out. And stupid me let her sleep for a long time and she didn't end up going to bed until she was literally forced to at 1am.

Day 20 - Another Picture from the Past

This was Seth's 2nd birthday cake. We made it a tradition from that birthday on to make really cool cakes for him. He broke it this year when he wanted an ice cream cake, but that's OK.

And yes, the entire thing is edible.

Day 19 - Sweet and Sour

Sara thought it would be a great idea to have Skittles...

She quickly discovered they were sour Skittles. Priceless!

Day 18 - Shopping

This made me lol. Sara found this shopping cart in the toy aisles and insisted on pushing it all over the store, calling it her "carpet" with a "Strawberry Cake-cake" toy inside. So I pulled out my camera in the middle of Target and she posed for this picture. I'm going to have to start bringing her little shopping cart with us when we do shopping. It was just too cute.

Day 17 - Another Old Picture

This one made me laugh when I found it. This is a picture of me and my brother and his ex-fiancee. She was really sweet and I thought totally cool at the time because her apartment was completely goth. She asked me to be one of her bridesmaids and I gladly accepted. Well, one night she was at my apartment and threw her engagement ring off the balcony. That was the first sign that things weren't going well. My parents (not hers) forked out a bunch of money for this really cool reception place (Victoria style garden house). All of a sudden, she kicked me out of the wedding and a couple weeks later, the wedding was off completely (about a month before it was supposed to take place). My parents lost a bunch of money on lots of non-refundable deposits.

But the good side? I had someone alter this image and it's a reminder for me of how petty and stupid people can be. Also, I ended up getting married/having my reception at that house... gorgeous!

Day 16 - From My Past

I spent a good portion of the day going through a zip file of old poems and pictures, so I decided to post this one of our first cat, Theobald. He was a little shit through and through. We have a physical picture of him 1/2 way on a skateboard that had "Kiss My Ass" written on it. That spoke volumes of him. This picture was taken 13 1/2 years ago. He died when he was 4 years old of kidney failure. He was the epitomy of cats and we loved him a lot.
